I've got the same exact holding tank and plan on allowing it to completely dry out once in a while just to be safe.
Any current full tank shots? Looks like you added quite a bit lately.

Finally after all these years I have a quarantine tank setup! Now I can finally qt fish safely instead of hoping for the best... This powder blue has been treated for the last 3 weeks at the local fish store... It's the heathiest powder blue I've seen in a store I know there prone to ick so I better be extra cautious !

I hope this doesn't sound too harsh but if you haven't quarantined any of your other fish over he hears it may be a waste of time with the PBT. Don't get me wrong I think it's great that you are finally getting into QT but the chances of ich already being in your display means even if it's clean now that could change the second you put him in the display. Your tank is very nice

I've had all the other fish for 4-5 years and they have been moved a few times, and some stressful situations... And I have never seen any disease or parasites... So I feel it's safe to say that's is free of contamination.... I'm more worried about new additions bringing something into the system.... I really definitely appreciate your insight and can definitely see what your saying....

I hope it works out for you and again I am glad to see you going the QT route. I firmly believe QT is the single most important thing you can do to be successful.
