i know it not big but hey. its the best a poor man do. i have 2 x 250w 20k mh and 2 x 110w super actinics. Quiet one pump 4400 high head for the return. some pix.

you might have some problems with the return spitting back microbubbles. that blue mesh filter will be the cause of it due to the water drop/splashing down into the return area.

i know i moved the filter to the the front of the sump and and the bubles have stopped. ill see if i can get a good pik of it.

everything is looking good. sump looks like it is working out for you well.

i think your gonna need more rock IMO. while your cycling your tank you should just buy the rock you want and add it to he cycle. lots of people have been advertising cheap rock.

Definitelt add all of the rock while the tank is cycling so that you avoid excess nutrient spikes later on.

yea i know im going to go to the fish store today and buy more rock. but it make one hell of a dent in the wallet man.

don't buy it from the fish store buy it from someone selling rock i think that Sean(volunteerguy) is selling rock. and i know joe (nyvp) has some cool base rock that is dirt cheap.

Let me tell you, Sean (volunteerguy) has some really sweet LR!
If I still needed some I would have gotten some Friday. It has lots of coraline and polyps and al kinds of stuff....really sweet looking.
