I upgraded from a 40 gallon rimless to a 70 gallon Marineland cube(30x30x18). Fortunately able to use most of the equipment from the previous tank, a few upgrades including the I-Tech 100 with the tunze pump...skims like a champ! Thanks for looking...:D

Nice! I'm in the process of setting up the exact same sized tank. I'd love to see more details on your setup.

wow really nice tank perry, i got a similar size of tank also, little longer but not as deep, in hind sight i wish now i went 30" depth, and you know what that means when we wish those things :) lol, upgrade thoughts permeating. That efflo (??) on the right is a stunning piece. cant wait to see when the tank grows out.

Sweet looking tank love it!

Have you thought about adding a black background (such as vinyl that they use for car graphics) to help hide the Tunzes and block out the sun from the window? I am actually going to tint my windows since the sun makes everything look yellowed out.

Thanks,
Yes that efflo has been through hell and back, at one point I moved it to my fuge because it completely bleached out, and I just put it there because it was ugly... Well, the limited lighting allowed for it to brown up a bit, so I knew it was still good, had some dead spots so broke them off... Put the coral back in the tank, and voila...it is now starting to show very beautiful blue colors while the base is still yellow green. All in all, it has proven to be a show piece... BTW, upgrade... you know you wanna...:spin2:

Thanks,
I actually had a black background at first, but I really like the back being open for some reason... The light coming through is minimal, and the room where the tank is, is a Florida room, so no escaping the sunlight....:) The pic shows cords, I have since tightned that look up, will get some more pics soon... Thanks for the compliment!:fun4:

I might pick one up too, not sure between the 70 and 94 yet though. How much did you pay for it?

BTW how many threads about this tank do you have? I believe this is the 3rd one :lolspin:
