My .9 Gallon Project

Ya I have the same tank, and I really like it.
one think you might want to consider is turning the filter into a hang on fuge.
THe filter that I had from it got shot in three weeks flat, and I can't find a new impeller.

Also one think that was hard to find was filter media.
Glad the GF likes it.

WHy did you do an overflow rather than a rimless aquarium with the tank as the overflow? ex the water overflows all the sides of the tank. I think if you google Zero Edge Aquarium you'll find what I mean

I do like the zero edge tanks, i find them very neat. I didnt do it zero edge because IMO they are hard to see into from the sides. I have seen large (50 gallon) zero edges and you have a great view from the top, but the side view is very blurry from the running water. With a 5x5 footprint, top viewing would be very limited, thats why i went with a cube design with an overflow. It will be on my dest at home, right about eye level so i needed to get maximum side viewing. Plus, i spill enough water doing my WC, i cant imagine trying to do a zero edge on my desk :D, disaster waiting to happen....

UPDATE..

UPDATE..

Finally got the plumbing going. Dont have my sump yet so i used and ice container to test. No leaks, so thats good. Its running 3/8 ID vinal tubes with quick disconnects for easy cleaning ext. I had a hard time with the duel returns useing the quickdisconects, but they flow great. The rio90 really gets some flow through it! Everying runs next to silent, very happy so far. also included a pic of my new wild percs in QT, these two are beautiful and are starting to pair already. Been eating like hogs for the last 3 days though lol.
