Hi guys,
I'm reading a lot on Reef Central but actually never posted in a thread. So i thought it would be time to introduce myself and post something about my reeftank.
I'm Bart from the Netherlands and quite new to the hobby( i'm in it for year)
The tank i'm running is my second tank with the dimensions of 40"x24"x24"
and hold about 90 gallons of water.
After starting out with a lot of LPS and zoa's i'm now all about SPS. Because this tank is only running for 5a6 months most of my sps corals are just frag size. But some already grew out to nice colony's.
Sadly i had to frag my favorite pice; a Acropora Carduus(mr pacman i think)
because of some STN started when i accidently fragged a tiny branch. I also tried to freshwaterdip it but that was a stupid idea because it now totaly lost the nice color. But i got at least 2 nice frags with good polyp expansion so i think at least one of them will survive.
I have attached a foto of what it looked like:hmm6:
