Sorry for the delay.
I have actually got some bad news, the 8x4x3 is closing up and will make way for a Fresh Water Tropical or a fish only salty. :eek2:
Due to time constraints with work and the fact that the Australian Government is buying up all the collection licenses from our reefs (and you can not import corals or inverts here, only fish) the future of this hobby is not good. I have basically had an impossible time getting corals, mainly SPS.
We do not have hardly anyone growing frags here and I mean I only know one person here in Australia who does it on a small commercial basis.
What corals I have left have gone into my 7x2x2.5, which is now finished except fish.

That is so sad to hear. At least you have huge potentials to turn that tank into one awesome FO tank. All I would do differently is to get rid of the 400 watt ballasts and replace them for 175 watt to run lights over the tank. The list of fish you could put in that awesome size tank is just mind blowing. Don't see it as a defeat, but rather a challenge.

Aquaculture is THE fastest growing industry in Aus right now.. but mainly food fish to Japan/USA/EURqualos
