My Anemones Are Coming!

The anemones didn't make it... here is one of them. You can clearly see that it was completely bleached.
That look like a fairly healthy anemone after shipping. Get it ino the tank fast. I can't believe you put an anemone like that on dry news paper. IMO, that is a helathy anemone after shipping. Even on dry newspaper like that, as it is, it's mouth is close. You cannot judge the color of an anemone until it regain it's health, under good btight light.

Looks healthy to me. When it dies it will have rips and tares all over it. My anemones spit stuff out of their mouths like that every day and they're doing great. Do you have any pictures of it in the tank?

After the last few posts I have a feeling he's staring at the toilet bowl screaming "Come Back! Come Back!"

Here's the video! Sorry for the crappy quality! :'(

you should be apologizing for that crappy song. yikes.

The mouth does look somewhat discouraging on that nem, but i agree, it was probably jsut in shock, you should of waited it out a few more days

Perhaps saying they didnt make it so you can get store credit for more colorfull anemones, please say thats not so.

Thats definitely not what Im doing, Im not that kind of a person.

I don't have any pictures of the anemone in the tank, but how you see the anemone in that picture is just how it was in the tank, when I woke up it was like that on the sand bed and it wasn't even attach to anything it just flat on the sand. Also look at the mouth to me that does not look alive it wasn't even moving. Im not gonna leave something like that in my tank so it can contaminate everything in the tank.

I'd say that was a smart move if you were sure the anemone was dieing which you said it was. If it was dieing, then good job, but I would have waited until I could see what was really happening. It does look bleached, but if you had anything T5 or better it probably would have made it. What kind of lights do you have?

Im the anemone didn't look like it had any life when I took it out if not I wouldn't had taken it out.

I have MH with PC Actinic
