She is Beautiful. Been in the tank for 72 hours and she is huge. All my clownfish have been checking her out. So far so good. She has about a 4 inch skeleton and opens up to 8-9 inches. Purple tips with pink and green markings, all for only $40!

That is nice but be careful with it rubbing the rocks. It may irritate the flesh.

Looks good and a great price too! You don't need to worry about the rocks, unless the tissue that overlaps the skeleton in pinched between the skeleton and rocks. There's no problem with the expanded polyp laying on rocks.

I was a little worried about the rock rubbing, but the tissue overlap is not touching the rock. My fire clownfish keeps swimming around her and I'm wondering if she will host it. Has anyone seen clownfish host an elegance coral?

I had a couple of clownfish host a 5" elegance. At first I thought it was cool. They ended up killing it. Flesh started coming off the skeleton, It was toolate after that.

That is very common when clowns use elegance corals as a host.

What can be done to limit a clowns hosting behavior on an elegance coral? I have a clown who is just starting to host my elegance and I can already tell the elegance is not amused.
