My autotop off pump

When the sensor that tells the pump to shut off some how my pump still drips water into the tank even after the tank is level. How do i stop the pump from doing this?

Raise the hose, this is caused by a siphon. The hose is below the water level in the reservoir, pumping up to the tank instead of the sump will surely solve the problem.
