My Babies......

I thought I would post some pictures of my growing collection since I received the cherry on my cake today. I got this big candy apple red colony for my birthday.

I've worked really hard over the past year to expand my collection, trading and buying and generally scouring the forums for good deals on nice palythoa and zoos. A few I purchased from Etailers; Crazy Ricks and Reef Hot Spot being my favorites for nice zoanthids. The rest I've gotten from my fellow reefers.

I keep them all under an ATI fixture with ATI T5's 156watts, 2 daylight, 2 actinic.

Holy cow! Nice collection and looks like you're running out of space over there. Thanks for sharing those with us. Photography isn't too shabby either. Did I hear you say you were getting ready to frag some of these and post a FS thread? I thought I heard that. Joking. Nice stuff!

You're cute ddwbeagles, these are grow out for awhile. No plans to sell for now.

They are in a 2x3'x15" shallow tank. I would do a FTS, but its not that impressive. It doesn't look like a display tank would. I have a lot of other random zoos growing out, I just took pics of my bigger, prettier ones. ;]

I have an Olympus SP-590 UZ. I upgraded to it this past Christmas. It has the most macro of any camera in its class on the market. 26x optical zoom. It was a bit challenging taking photographs between the light fixture and not getting the lens in the water. At least I don't have to worry about getting burned by MH's.

I just added two tiny bicolor blennies to my zoo tank today, I'll have to get some pics later tonight. They're so cute!!

I always get their nick name confused. Are bicolor blennies...... Royal Grammas (fade or blend between the pink and yellow) or Psuedo Chromis (straight line or split between the two colors)? If it's the Psuedo Chromis....man are you going to regret that. Not the most fish friendly inhabitant. Lesson I learned the hard way.
