My Bean Animal Build

lol, the plumbing looks right to me from what I can tell.
Just make sure the air line from the open channel is secured in a good spot so that it's high enough to not gurgle constantly but low enough to become a full siphon before the water level gets too high. You can play with that once the tank is running.

To add to what d2mini said ... Put the airline at a height above the dry emergency height.

Lol coool! Thanks yes i will do that fine tining once it is primed and tuned for water level and consistency :=p

not bad.

don't forget the ball valves

I installed a ball valve on the main siphon and the return line. I csn slways add one to the emergency drains but i read they werent 100% needed on the emergencies? Just the main siphon snd return for gph tuning? Ill haveca pic tonight and video of first startip test!

Correct. The only one required is the main siphon. I have all three and used them only to simulate blockage scenarios for testing purposes.

Plus the true union ball valves come in handy if you ever need to dismantle the plumbing.

i started also installing a union between the tank side plumbing and the sumo side plumbing for that exact purpose. I noticed if I ever need to change my sumo i would be cutting ll the piping again so I started adding unions. I couldn't find true union ball valves, so i am doing the best I can.
