I have a stunning little Maxima that I bought for my 10 gallon. After a few months under 96W PC lighting, he had turned a muddy dark blue. I realized he needed to go into the 130 with MH lights, but I have a giant Koran angelfish that loves clams for dinner:( I glued a suction cup bracket to the back of a betta breeder box and stuck little clammy to the glass. He has regained all of his brilliant color (And then some), but I have to stand on a dining room chair to see him. I can't wait until I can finally take him out of prison and enjoy his stunning colors.

IF they had an emoticon that dropped his jaw down to the floor, then his eyes blew out, I'd use it here. Those clams are smashing! what kind is the first?

Your Derasa is very beautiful. I really like the fine, sharp gold lines. I don't think you can find a Derasa with better patern, IMO.

Thanks guys, they have put on a new layer of shell and I have only had them about 2 months. They get more beautiful by the day.
