Elliott

HI Elliot, thanks so much. I love the natural look, don't like when things look like they were placed there if you know what I mean.
So happy you like my site. I have had fun with it but sure keeps me hopping with all of the questions about anemones I get from it.
But that is what it is for, to help out.
Thanks

definately M. doreensis. Looks exactly like mine but it needs to eat alot more because the tentacles are very short right now.

Hi Dan, how long should the tenticles be? This one has about 2" tents.
This is a new thing for me, I am a BTA gal;)
So any suggestions and help to keep it happy appreciated.

Let me try to get a couple pictures of mine. He's up against the front glass which means I can't scrape the sides there very well. I don't want to post pics that make my tank look THAT bad. :O

I think my LTAs tentacles are about 5 or 6 inches long and they get the "corkscrew" effect when I'm feedin him well.

Here is a pic when he first settled into the tank.

The second nest my clarkii laid.

That is also my LTA in my avatar.

Beautiful Dan. Is the color a pinkish?
Mine may be bleached a bit? It does'nt have that much color.
I will keep up the daily feedings to recover it's zooanthellia.
Thanks for posting the pics, very pretty.

It's more of a beige or tan. but the stripes are sortof opalescent like you described yours. Yours does look a tiny bit bleached but knowing how well you keep your anemones I'm sure it will do fine. Mine really likes a lot of light too.

Ok great. I will keep up the dailys for it and it will be fine and thanks for the compliment.
They sure are beautiful arent they? How long have you had yours?
I see the clowns love them to, mine havnt found it yet, but they have 9 bta's to sleep and wiggle around in so they won't miss out.:)

Forgot to ask, has yours sunk it's foot to the glass? Mine has his attached deap in the rockwork. I don't have deep sand but he seems pretty happy where he is.

Here is a new picture and an older pic of the underside of the oral disc. The color is probably closer on the picture of the underside (I changed lights and don't know how to get the color right yet)

That's is, the underside is identical to what mine has so now I know just what it is, thanks so much Dan for taking the time to take the pics.
Those curls on the tenticles are cute. Will post pics when mine starts to color up a bit.

Note the way the tentacles twist in the 2nd photo <img src="http://www.reefcentral.com/images/arrow_up.gif" alt="To the top">

Just managed to get another picture of the LTA. The clown in the LTA is the larger clown from above so you can see how much the LTA has grown. I don't think the clown has grown much she's around 5.5" or so. She has been a little stressed lately and you can see that by her color bing a little brownish right now.
