That's right. When I bought them I made 100% certain that they were not misbarred.

Just thought I'd be unusual and brag about my normally barred clownfish, which I wouldn't trade up for misbarred, unbarred, or spotted clowns;)

:) I love them. I watch them for hours. I have owned quite a few fish in my 6 years in this hobby and I must say that they are FAR AND AWAY the most entertaining!

littleshark,

I just found a new home for that Haddoni... putting him in a 36g was actually quite short-sighted of me. He was doing exceptionally well, but needed room to grow. I think I may downsize before I upsize, so decided to find him a new place. My clowns host the clams, anyhow!
*His new owner has informed me that acclimation went well:)

Nice! My occy is the same, perfectly patterned. My GSMs are misbars -- I bought them for their personality and wanted an established pair -- but overall I prefer standard patterns to misbarring.

A beautiful inter-racial couple!!!! My display will have a similar pair or a possible exchange of the orange for a onyx percula, but I really do like the drastic color difference of the all orange and all black. Very nice clowns!!!

:D Thanks all!

I love the contrast, truly a beautiful inter-racial couple!! And, they are so spunky! They have started to go through the motions of cleaning an area for breeding... I just moved things around, but I think within the year I should have some eggs!

If they breed, get ready for possible misbars. Have a pair just like yours, and they do produce misbars. What I'm hoping for are some unique black misbars. Have a few growing out that are different and hopefully black. That having been said, I also have a naked male and a black female breeding. Have some fry from them that are lacking 90% of the white bars, and am hoping for some black ones with them.
