DUDE I LOVE UR TANK!...not to be rude buy how mutch did u pay for all that stuff including the fish...( i wont mine to look like yours) and were did u get it at Thanks a lot!

Looks like the acan has a couple dead heads. Turn off the pumps like a half hour after lights out and the tentacles should be out. Spot feed it mysis with a turkey baster 2 times a week and it will grow over those spots in no time.

Very nice tank.

Beautiful tank!! I love those clowns. That acan is awesome as well. Make sure to feed them so they will really take off.

thank you SO MUCH for that :) I would have never done that, but I do have a turkey baster, nad I do have some mysis, how much shrimp can it take, or does this vary with each acan?

3fins: so far I've spent (including the cost of the tank itself) almost 1200 dollars on it. I get pretty much everything from my LFS bio reef which is such a great store www.bioreef.com

I do plan on moving the yellow polyps in a month or two and I will be moving the acan in the next few days, any other comments, suggestions, or criticism would be awesome :)

I usually try to feed my acan about 1 mysis per head, sometimes a fish might swim by and take it but it's no biggie.

Cool mushroom, I have a similar one that changes color depending on where I place it in the tank (from green to purple to red).

I can't see the photo....work has blocked almost all download sites....but what I do for feeding almost all my LPS is as follows:
I buy mysis in the block form. Then when it's time to feed I take a knife and shave the block of mysis. This gives smaller particle sizes that can be enjoyed by almost all LPS and fish alike. I don't use a turkey baster because it's too large, and you end up with a lot of waste. At my work I pick up dispossable pipets, they also sell them at a lot of my LFS, and look like this..

I typically cut the tip off to allow for a larger opening, and I use this to target feed all my LPS. Typically I feed just enough for them to grab onto with their tenticals on one side. With a lot of LPS like lords you will find that they can eat a ton of food if they can get it...mine pretty much have their tenticals out 24/7. If you get into a routine of feeding them a couple times a week at the same time you will find that you can train most corals to put out their feeders durring day, not just when the lights go out.
