My Black Ocellaris Is Officially Blind

I noticed my black ocellaris male was swimming around the top of the water the other night and did a water test assuming it was a water quality issue. Everything was perfect and so I let it be.
Well I got home from work last night and he was all over the tank along the glass. I figured he was hungry so I dropped a few pellets in. Nope. Just kept swimming.
Then I stuck my hand in the tank to move a coral that had fallen and he swam straight into my arm face first three times!! I held my palm half open and he swam into it and I had enough time to close my hand before he realized what was going on. He has since been observed swimming into rocks and coral blatently not having a clue where he is headed

I have a female black onyx percula I planned on breeding with him but as he is blind with no visible parasites I can no longer use him as a breeder.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I haven't but I have only had my clowns for 6 weeks. My female perc killed the male she was "paired" up with. I have since noticed that at night she swims along the surface of the water sideways, thought she was dieing until I noticed the next day that she was normal again lol! GL getting your female onyx a new pal!!

I don't think your fish is blind. He probably has a virus that is messing with the nervous system. I would quarantine and start a broad range antibiotics. jmo

Sounds very stressed and if he was swimming around the surface he might be lacking enough Oxygen.

What size tank and whats used for water flow?
And so you have a lid on this tank?

Its not always on the top of the tank. He is all over the tank.
I dont have a top on the tank. The glass I am implying is the normal glass of the tank. I appreciate your concern but I am 100% positive none of your suggestions are the issue.

46 bow and I have two Koralia 750s and two 425s along with my return that is prolly around 460GPH. I have a lot of SPS and all my other fish are doing smashingly
