Just in case some of you aren't sure if its worth bringing your junk, here is what I will be looking for at the Garage Sale for my upcoming 125 build:

8. powerheads
9. low wattage external pump for skimmer (Eheim, Sicce, OR2700, etc)
10. scrap acrylic for DIY skimmer (sheet acrylic - I'm making a square skimmer)
11. JG fittings
12. 1.5 and 2" bulkheads

That is all I can think of right now.

Bored,

YOu have dibs on the OR

I also have ca,ALK,mg,phosphate,PH salifert test kits the ca and alk are pretty low but the others have barely been used at all.

i will also have a bunch of powerheads a lot of maxijets and a couple are the mjmods.

i have a 250w ebo jager heater and also a won brothers heater

I have a refracometer and also once everything is gone i have a 55 gallon sump/refugium i have siliconed in glass pieces so there is a section for skimmer/return/refuge.

most of this will have to wait until the livestock is gone

dang mark, you made me remember some stuff i have that could go. just need to figure out once and for all what direction to go w/my present tank build :-)

great thread idea. would be interested to see what everyone else is looking for.

That was the idea! I'm sure there are pleanty of people with extra 'stuff' they just keep in a box and will never use.

I've updated my list, thanks to some great MARS members.

Oh well, can't edit my first post. (I don't understand that restriction)

#1 Sump and #5 fulfilled.

Adding to list:
20. used dead aragonite sand for DIY rocks

I've got lots of dead sand and crushed coral. Let me know how much you want. I'm looking for pc's to light my sump and a nano, at least 55 watts and higher.

I guess it depends on the price. If you are giving it away, I'll take it all. Or if you want to charge, we will have to discuss price. I'm not sure what is a reasonable price for used sand (is $5 / 5 gallon bucket is fair). If you don't have room for all of it, I prefer the crushed coral. Thanks, xia.

Anyone interested in these items? If so pm me. Also feel free to PM me if you think my prices are psycho but you are interested. If serious, i will make sure i come to the sale since online sales are not permitted for this event.

ETSS Skimmer - was damaged in shipping. The chamber [tall clear piece] and two pieces broke off the base where the chamber connects. Clean breaks [can be seen in second picture] and i have super glued it all back together. Would be great for in sump application. I have not, but would recommend putting some silicone around the base of the chamber. This is an older model and will push at minimum a 250g system. I'm sure you guys probably know more about it than me. Best I could figure in comparing to the new [and lon dual tower skimmer not sold by ETSS] is that the specs are close to the ETSS 800 XR which sells for $599.

Since was previously damaged I wouldn't know where to start on price albeit this is not a cheap skimmer. Make an offer.

Starphirre Aquatics AquaPod 24 Skimmer. It measures 2.25"x4"x12"; including the collection cup at its maximum height and the pump it stands at 14.5". It is simple to install and the only adjustment needed is to fine tune the height of the collection cup.

In tank 2 hours, decided I want to stop spending money on the little tank and build another. I'm wish washy like that. Pulled it out thinking I could sell easier if new instead of gunked up. I dropped the collection cup and chipped an edge so I bought another. You will get one repaired and one new collection cup. Paid $125. Sell for $100.
