MAAAN....that dude on the left got fed THREE times today. I would place a little piece...who am I kidding? an entire mysis shrimp in his tenticles...he would slowly close up and BOOM a few hours later he's wantin' more.

The guy on the right....not so much, just every couple three or four days. But that guy on the left eats...well, like I do.

Nice pix, ewwwww....aaaahhhh....wooow!

Check him out a few hours after lights out and you will probably find them all open.

I have a mint green that opens up an hour before lights out, when the tank is on actinic lights only, which is when I usually feed. My other candy cane only fully opens after lights out, although it will send some feeders out when I target feed.

My 10 headed trumpet looks great about 2 seconds after lights out, all tenticals. btw....ewwwww....aaaahhhh....wooow

Thank you thank you thank you......you're too kind !

I will try to feed him when the lights are out ! How often do you guys feed yours....?

Okay....I have never seen him doing this but the hungry guy on the left side of the pic looks darker brown in the stalk portion.

He looks kinda weepy.....! Should I move him or what....?

I target feed the corals twice a week. The day after target feeding I stir the tank up some so the fish can eat any leftovers. The other days I just feed the fish and the corals get the leftovers.

Don't move him. They darken, they recede and then they split IME. The more you feed the faster they multiply. They look pretty happy so just feed and keep the water conditions up.

okay so this is what he looks like tonight....and I am worried...! Should I be worried....? He looks like he's dying !

He looks like he's splitting to me. Candy canes tissue recedes as they are splitting. See how they are pinching together in the middle? They may even stop feeding for a few days.

If you search this forum you will find lots of "Are my candy canes dying?" threads. If you go back far enough, you'll even find one started by me!! :D

Just be patient and keep up your normal routine.
