My Chameleon Acro

Hi Leonardo

for some reason this is the fastest growing coral in my tank. I break the colony to 4 piece and they grow to 4 big colonies in no time. They have no preference regarding light or flow. Since I have the corals in 4 different place and they still grow...:-)

here is another fast grow piece that I have

So lately I've been getting a new color - like a bright neon yellow. I still have splotches of neon green in other spots. Pretty cool.

Very nice coral. Like the stag-like growth of it as well. Not one of those corals that will restict the flow so much when they get bigger.

Whats funny is I moved it recently and it sits right over Sand Dollar's WICKED neon green cap and his Highligher. Its almost like the color jumped from those colors to the acro. I'm sure it'll change back in time but it sure looks cool now!

I'd name it right now (LE something or rather).

Honestly, that is one of the nicest acros I have ever seen. Good job on coloring it back up like that. Whatever you are doing keep it up for sure!

Grafted Tizardi. Here are a couple more pictures. I have to say its even cooler in person. I really doubt it will last though. This coral has been with me for years and I've spread it all over and this is the first.

I feel like I should snap off that branch with the yellow well into where the yellow starts and mount it. Maybe the yellow will spread. I'll break off all the blue pieces.

Differences in the light field are likely playing a role in this, along with getting moved around and such and being in a state of flux in terms of adaption to the varied light intensity. I'm guessing that if it stays in one spot for a good of time you'll see more homegenous color (or a more homegenous combination of colors) on areas exposed to strong light. That is very neat looking though :D
