My Clam Tank

Very nice tank Arnold. Crazy to think I have 14 in a 40 breeder with 1-400w 14k over them. I cant put them in my 90g because my blue hippo loves to eat clams, not to mention anything fleshy like meats, brains, etc. If it wasnt for the fact that Ive had him and my purple tang together for 8 years I would have gotten rid of him for sure.He does leave my zoas alone thankfully.

Mine are 1-6.5 in gold maxima,2-4.5 in derasas,7 other blue, gold and teardrop maximas and 4-3 in croceas. Im getting ready to setup my 120g(4x2x2) as salt to make more room for them.

Hey guys I was thinking about joining BAR where do you guys meet? and how often? sure would like to hook up with other reefers, here are a couple pics of my Reef.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Corals b 4 bill - no problem, I am on the Club's BOD. Nice tank too. I see you posted on the BAR RC forum, but we have our own private forum too. We meet in Hayward, next meeting is Dec.

Icy 115 - with the lights and pump the tank stays a nice 75- 79 degrees...infact I have to have a fan running over the tank to keep it that way. I used to have a skimmer, but the pump broke and I didn't see any difference in the tank to I left it off. Its a 4 year old mature tank. The sump is good for more water volume and surface skimming to.

Chris, you missed 2 tank tours already. :), but I bet yours will be better than mine soon.

Very nice tank Arnold. Let me know when you are ready to part out with your giga. I already have a space reserve in my tank for a giga.
