Hi guys. I have a bubble tip Anemone! He is going great so far (only been a few weeks). I also had 2 small tank bred clown fish. They paired up and lived in the anemone. Unfortunately, what I would imagine was stress or worms, one of the clown fish dies (this was 2 weeks ago). Do you think my clown will get lonely. He seems happy, gets excited at feeding time, etc! I would love to buy him/her a mate but its too risky to try and pair them? I have the ocellaris clown! the problem was, they looked almost identical, and although I think it was the male who survived (submissive), I'm not 100% sure. Opinions? I just want to make him/her happy and i'm not going to rush out and buy a mate without leaving it a few more weeks for my heart to settle (I hate losing fish) and to get the right information!
FYI,
ammonia = 0
nitrite = 0
nitrate = <10ppm
Ph = 8.4
Kh = i ran out of test, a week ago it was 7.827dKH
salinity = 1.024
Mag = 1480ppm
Cal = 380ppm
phosphate = 0.25 (running media to bring down)
temps = 78 to 81.5 (no more then 2.5 in one day) but had some very hot temperatures recently and have to chiller.
