My clownfish acting weird... Advice??

Trying again
My LFS got two WC percs in last week that they ordered for me. They were kind enough to QT them for me for a week (Thats the longest they would QT them for and I figured that was long enough to find out wether or not they were sick) One turned out to be sick and after a week the other has showed no signs of any sickness. I added him yesturday. He doesn't seem scared, but a little stressed because hes just hanging out in the corner where I added him to the tank (but he seems to be swimming very calmly). I have him in my 12g nanocube and the temp was a little high (81.2) So i opened the hood to let some hot air out. RIGHT AWAY he started twitching when I opened the hood, then stopped after about 2-3 seconds. I watched him closely because he was twitching like my fathers fish with ich did when he was sick (my fathers fish would twitch and sorta run into the side of the tank like hes scratching). I then closed the hood for about a minute and opened it again, and he started again. I did it a 3rd time, and like clock work he twitches for 2-3 seconds.... you get the idea, he does it EVERYTIME I open the hood. Could it of been because he sees his shadow on the surface of the water and is showing aggression towards his shadow because he sorta turns his side to the surface when I open the hood. Is this something I should be worried about?? My tank specs are fine (I tested them today and yesturday) but hes not eating right now, I'm assuming because hes in this new tank for about 26hours as of right now, and he was eating at my LFS.. I did witness it. Any info would be great. For some reason I think its just him being a little scared. Right now he likes to stay around the surface of the water in one corner. Thanks for ANY help, and correct me if I'm wrong with any of my thinking..

I'm on my 3rd pair of false percs right now. I've always had trouble keeping them. The first two pair did exactly as you described. The pair I have in there now go up to the corner at night and swim all over the tank during the day. I started feeding them shortly after putting them in just to "see" if they would eat. I made my own food by mixing some flag wih some mysis shrimp and some fresh garlic. They tore into the food and ate every last bit including whole chucks of garlic (they seem to like it). Right now they are up in the corner next to a powerhead. I think they are just sleeping.

Good luck.

he's just scared, the hood to him is cover and everytime you open it you take that away. percs are highly insecure and can take some time to adjust to a new tank, especially wildcaught.

I think thats it. Also, hes just been acting weird in general.. not moving much, ALL day today he was swimming sideways... like he was on his death bed. everything possible was running through my mind because i'd feel TERRIBLE if he died.. And one thing that ran through my mind was not enough air in my water. So I turned on my fission protein skimmer because it produces a TON of micro bubbles, so I only run it at night. Within 5 mins, he was swimming around like crazy!!! He was swimming right up to the power head in the current and seemed to be enjoying life. I guess i'll just have to deal with micro bubbles.

Edit:
I still have another concern though.. he literally swims into things... he'll swim as fast as he can, and BAM! straight into a piece of LR lol... is this normal???
