my ocellaris clowns are laying eggs. Does anyone have any rotifers on hand, and has anyone had any luck raising ocellaris fry.

Thanks, Michele

nope and nope. :) good luck with them. don't worry if you miss the first few batches, they'll keep laying every ~2 weeks until you change something in the tank.

Thanks Matt. They laid 3 times about two years ago, I didn't catch them hatching then, but I didn't know what day they laid the eggs either. this is the first time since we moved.

Thanks, Michele

right before they hatch the eyes turn silver and very noticeable. i have wilkerson's clownfish book if you want to borrow it.

NbMaxx13 has a book to. I'd love to read it. So whichever one I can get first would be great. Are you comming to Salem to UA anytime soon?

I did notice that the last time they laid I could see the eyes very well and silver. The eggs were actually moving a little. I thought they were probably trying to hatch but I had to work that day, and the next morning the eggs were gone, and no sign of the fry. Our new work schedule makes it so that Wes or I, one or the other is always home, so I want to try and save some if I can.

Thanks, Michele

I have a vile of rotifer cysts that you are more than welcome to if you want to raise them.... Just have someone who is passing through pick them up for you... No charge;)

Clownfish are laying eggs again. 10 days since the last clutch. If anyone is going to richmond soon and wouldn't mind stopping by Marvin's, let me know.

Thanks, Michele
