My clownfish needs your help!

The whole time he just spends his time in this corner in the top of the tank, maybe because there is too much flow in the tank, or oxygen levels? Someone please help!

It sounds like the top corner of the tank is hosting your clownfish. My young ocellaris does the same thing, stays in on corner of the tank. It is most likely normal behavior as long as it is eating normally, not breathing rapidly, and its appearance is normal (no spots or anything).

Is the fish gulping at the surface for air or just swimming under the surface?

How long have you had the fish for and how long has this behavior been going on for?

What size tank and what kind of flow do you have, how many powerheads/what kind?

He is the only fish in the tank.he is not gasping he has no white spot on him. He is acting like a normal fish. Also if I get an anemone will he venture from his corner to host it?

Nothing will guarentee that it will go toward the anemone. I had a friend who's clowns HOSTED the discharge,75g tank, for 4 weeks, never venturing down until he added more fish in the tank. Now they are all over the place.

How can I make him more comfortable venturing around the tank more and around the rockwork?

You can try turning off your pumps during feeding time and actually putting the food down by the rockwork, instead of letting it float on/near the surface.

Take the food (flake or whatever else) and pinch it and put it all the way down near the bottom, about a minute after the pumps and powerhead are turned off.

This will make it go down and find the food. Right now you are making it easy for it as it does not need to leave the spot for food or anything else.

You want a quick fix here is it. Get a smaller clownfish and the other fish will actually give him incentive to wander depending if your fish is male or female. You will get a dominance issue if it is male as one will have to turn female. If your fish is female them it will hopefully pair up. By doing this it is like allowing him to have a play mate or in your case another fish to follow and explore the tank. It will work guarantee

It takes time to lure a fish from where it is comfortable. When I moved my clowns from the 120 (where they were god) to the 180 (with the same other fish that were in the 120) they were scared and stayed in the corner for 2 weeks. Then they ventured out sometimes, but always returned to the same spot to sleep.

Now they are all over it like they own the place.
