i got a pair of false percs today and they wont leave the front of the tank.. they swim very actively but almost rub themselves on the glass. .. and on eachother.. they were in seperate tanks in the pet store and they are both failry young ... about 3/4 an inch long... they rub on eachother and swim together.. not leaving eachother sight.... ??

why wont they leave the glass...

OH ! also i have a bubble tip anemone that i put in today and it was on the top of a rock high up so it would get enough light and moved itself under the rock and attatched itself and its tentacles are barely getting light??? it is small around the size of the palm of my hand .. (a little smaller & im a girl) :) but wont it die because it isnt getting enough light??

any tips would help

give the anemone some time. it may just be in a little shock and is adjusting. as for the fish, were they doing this at the store as well? when i go into a fish store, all of the fish swim towards people because people mean food and if food comes sparsley, then it is the only chance for food.

well ... the pet store knows me pretty well ... so they special ordered the clowns and anemone for me..... no a pair though and not already hosting the anemone... they were in the bags still from shipment when i got them so no further stress would be added...

If you stand far awat from the tank my gues is that they wont really do it that much. If that's true I agree with texa$ because mine do similar things when I go near the tank because they think they will get food.
Changing the flow from the power heads helped a bit as the current was really flowing near the glass and the clown were riding it.
