My Clowns are Clowns

When one clown hosted in my Duncan (see my Avatar) I thought it was cute. Now the other has decided to host in my neon green trumpet coral.

They both continue to ignore the 3-inch gbta 12 inches away from where they have shacked up.

Is this typical behavior? The one in the Duncan tucks himself in so deep at night he is barely visible.

very common. I had a pair of picassos that at first would ignore the rbta and preferred to live in the frogspawn. Drove me crazy. I would yell at them (I bet that looked stupid) to get out of my frogspawn and get into their 125 dollar nem.

Thats a nice looking tank.

Nice tank! Your copper banded butterfly looks great!

My black clowns checked out my RBTA's when I first got them, but won't go anywhere near them. They used to hover above my candy cane and get the sweepers to extend, but gave that up about a year ago. Since then, they've lived exclusively in GSP:

My ocellaris has leathers, gsp, and hammer corals in my 20L, but it prefers to hover over one of my open brains during the day and sleep in my pulsing xenia at night. Before I removed my T. derasa clam due to size (simply outgrew the 20L), the clown preferred the clam to all others, and the clam tolerated it surprisingly...
