My clowns are hosting my green open brain

Last Friday I got two tank raised true perculas along with a green open brain coral. The other night I noticed them hosting my green open brain coral.

Well today I get a branching frogspawn. Any chance they'll switch?

Are they hurting the green open brain?

On my previous setup, my occelaris pair did the same thing. The brain was irritated at first, but it didn't seem to mind after a short while. Good luck.

Mine host a Hammer but it has burned them a bit and I researched it and found that they will need to develop the right slime, seems they never host what we want them too.

Is there any chanced that they will switch?

If remove the green open brain for awhile would that help them switch?

What about placing the green open brain under the branching frogspawn? It seems like they haven't even noticed the frogspawn, though its only been 24 hours.

:) I have a maroon that has a green open brain that hosts it, they've been together for over a year now at least. No issues at all, brain is just like a big cooshy pillow for the clown.

Its tough to tell what a clown will choose as a home ;). Some would rather host in the hole in the sand or an algae magnet than a big anemone placed in the tank just for them.

yea, I mean its really neat...i NEVER would have expected it.....BUT my frogspawn is just A few inches to the left

And has TWO more beds than the open brain!

SWEET!! Now they started hosting BOTH: the green open brain and my branching frogspawn! They fight and go back and forth! :lol

My LFS told me that I don't want them hosting my frogspawn, that they would stress it out. Any truth to this?

My Maroon has killed about every coral I have. She can't get in the cabbage leather, and is happy in the hairy mushrooms, but that's because there is nothing else left.
