I dont know what i do wrong! but I thin both of my skunks are going to die! One was stuck to my koralia and i just saw it when i went to the bathroom, i turned it off right away and now hes gasping for air and not swimming well at all...the other one got stuck to the powerhead of m fuge and barley was able to get off of it! now there both on the oppisite side of the anemone and in the corner of the tank on the ground barley moveing, it is possible that there tired or something but idk what to do...now i suppose i wasted 70$ on those koralial's and im thinking that one or both of my skunks will die....

Oh no, do a water change and see if that helps. Maybe you will have to put them in a quarantine tank..do you have one?
Tired ..um my pinks sleep in their LTA.

check all your tank parameters and post them here

I hope everything is ok with your skunks. How are they this morning?

Healthy fish should be able to swim away from Koralias....probably the fish were sick and the powerheads pulled them in because they were too weak to swim away.

I found them both dead this morning....I called the LFS and they will give me 10% off on another pair....wow what a rip and i dont want another pair from there! Dam just my luck.My params are...(nitrite-0,nitrate-5-10, ammonia-0,Sg-1025,temp was 80-82 yesterday but today its back down to 79-80, My lights make the thermometer fluctuate. what do u think could be the problem? Im not going to get another pair till i figure it out,and i want to wait like a weak or so, maybe 2. Its strange because there was no physical thing i could see wrong, they seemed to be breathing rapidly since i got them so i figured it was normal... But when i put both koralia 1's in there 3 hours latter they moved from the anemone and died under some live rock right next to each other....so sad and upsetting. I could really use all the opinions i can get right about now.

Aww man..That is so heart breaking. How is your little lta doing?

Were they eating after you added them to the tank?

Did you make sure they were accepting food at the LFS?

That is too bad :( Ironic isn't it, fish survive for a few days in a plastic bag of water while they are shipped across the country, added into LFS tanks with 1000's of other other fish, then we put them in our tanks where we try to make everything perfect for them and they die.

That's too bad, but you can't necessarily blame the LFS unless you know why they died. If I buy fish in Utah, they're not guarenteed to make it out the door after I pay. Once they leave their hands, they have no way of knowing the care it has recieved. 10% would be a good deal for me.

The LTA is doing well, its very open and its mouth is shut very tight, all the tentacles are full and long. I don't have a skimmer but i have a 5 gallon fuge, an aquaclear 20-50 filter,2 koralia's,and 25 Plbs of live rock just in the main display...im pretty sure there getting everything they need, but im no expert so.I don't know what happened but i would really like to.

When i bought my common clowns the smaller ones kept dying. same thing, rapid breathing, weak swimming dead the next moring. It was the 3rd one that survived though the first female never showed any sign of distress.

omg, i have mine for over 2 months now, the female seem perfect but the male is breathing rapidly aswell, he seem up and down but this time been 4-5 days already, is he going to die too?
