Equipment:
50 gallon corner reef tank
Rio 1700 with Y-locline split
Rio 400
Koralia 2
AC 500 fuge
Aqua C Remora skimmer
250w MH 20k, 4 x T-5 daylight actinic
15 blue LEDs for night viewing

Livestock:
~70 lbs live rock (~20 lbs blue ridge)
~20 lbs live sand
assorted corals, mostly softies
2 false perculas
1 copperband (new as of 7/21)
1 fire shrimp
1 coco worm
~20 nassarius snails
~10 turbo snails

This tank is a couple of months old and came about after the crash of my BC29 (due to a chemical reaction when part of the plastic hood melted into the water). It has had its ups and downs and I have battled a couple of zoa pox outbreaks that have wiped my colonies out, but it seems to be contained and stable now. It also hasn't helped that my family and I have been travelling a lot lately.

Opinions, comments and critisms (constructive, please) are always welcome!

Its really not a couple of months old itself, but the merge (of what was left of my BC29 and this tank) took place a couple of months back.

It's absolutely beautiful.

The only negative that worries me for the tank's safety is the Rio. I've not had good luck with them. I'd recommend a mag 9.5 or the like.

Hummmm... that would be a pain to change since I have it waaaay in the back of the tank, set up with a y-locline split. But I will certainly keep my eye out for failure (I am always making sure its working anyway). To re-do this rock work would take me days I think.
