my design for 10g. (questions)

i set up a 10g about 3 months ago and before i really start putting anything in it i would like to know the benifit of adding a 5g sump what should i put in the sump? will the added water increase bio capasity? or will ir reduce the amount of water changes i do? thanks!!!!

adding sumps are always a good idea...
for one, you can hide almost if not all of your filtration i.e. heaters, pumps, skimmers etc, in it...you can also put some type of macro algea in there to help export nutrients...
secondly, yes, it will add more total water volume to your system. will it allow you to do less frequent water changes? no, but it will help make your system more stable...you have to remember, that in saltwater, the mor evolume, the better...
