Hey bergzy not sure but I know that loc01 is also planning on doing the same thing. If I remmeber correctly I think the 1262 is bigger but I've never seen it in person. Also the only thing you need is the impeller from the sedra becuase you will be bracking of the regular fins from the ehiem impeller. Also be verry careful the imperllers for the ehiem are about $75 if you brake it. If you look at the second page of the link on the first post you can see how it looks like and how i got the idea from MDboyz

Both of the 1260 and 1262 have the same outside body dimensions, I would imagine maybe the magnet is a little longer or larger.

both pumps are the same dimension. They both weight approx 6lbs, same size of in and output. you can fit 3/4 threaded coupling, it is the same with the input.
