Would she have said 'no' if she had known ahead of time? No attempt at psychology here, but it's much better when it becomes 'ours'. When it just..appears...it will always be.. just yours.

That aside, what a beautiful tank. I will be interested in what you learn about arranging. I'm in preplanning for a large tank as well. I hope you let us know what you think of it's dimensions later on.

nice post we had a party this weekend, she was bragging about how glad she was that I got the tank. I even have it on tape. Everyone loves the tank.

As a reefaholic and a woman I just wanna say I'd rather have my man reeking of skim mate, getting his fingers all pruney doing a water change and fiddling with the tank than fiddling with some 20 year old....

My wife has a thing with numbers
She says a 280 gal tank is way to big
But when I marked a spot 64 x 24 on the floor with tape and the height on the wall (tank is 30 tall) it is fine
So my trick is to say " Forget about the gallons lets decide what fits the room best and get that"

Sweet install. That tank looks great. And with the high ceiling it doesn't crowd the room too much. I contemplated long and hard about doing an in-viewing room install on my reef but decided on a tank room for a variety of reasons.

I really wanted that 3D effect you have, but it was just not practical. If you ever get out to Kitsap, come by and visit!
