I have been busy lately and have been just kind of feeding them not looking at them, but today i look at my male and his pouch looks inflated more than normal. he is not having any trouble staying submerged so i dont think its pouch emphysema. is there any way to be sure that he is really pregnant?

Often males inflate their pouches making themselves look pregnant but it's a show for the female trying to entice her to produce and transfer to him.
If you can "candle" him using a strong light behind, you can see the eggs in the pouch if he is pregnant.

My reidi and most of my erectus give birth in early am but I have ingens and erectus that also do it in the middle of the day. If you are concerned about the babies, you could create an intank maternity tank (2.5 gallon goldfish bowl with one flat side cut out and mesh siliconed over it). This is what I do. Put a hitch in it, clamp it on the inside of your DT and put your preggo horse in there. I normally put an airline in it too..... just make sure he is eating while in there.
