My euroreef came with silicon....

I ordered a RS80 and it came with a small tube of silicon... Any one have any idea what its for?. Instructions don't even mention anything about it.

I dont have a ER but iw ould guess its the silicone grease for the gasket?

It's for the neck of your skimmer. The orings are notorious for leaking. If it leaks, then dry the o-ring and grease it up. It's also good for using it on the pumps o-ring if you ever disassemble them to clean. I recently experienced this and they started leaking. For now, you probably dont need it unless the skimmer came in pieces.
