I have been looking for a better float valve with a good flow rate for my auto water change solution. The problem that i've had with the standard ball valves like the ones you get from BRS and other suppliers are that their flow rate is absolutely terrible. I needed a valve that would allow a much faster GPM flow rate and still actually do their main job. STOP water flow when water gets to a set level.
After 3 different valve styles, this is the one that has greatly outperformed the others. Four times the flow rate and 1/3 the footprint.

Note: Not all of these are the same. My first version of this float valve (different seller) was complete crap.
I cannot speak towards their longevity, but they definitely work perfectly for my purposes (filling a 5g bucket with RO and OSW with a pump. Float valve cuts off flow as soon as water reaches its proper level).
Anyone else have experiences with this style float valve?
