My favorite fish tank.

These fish were put in there to stir up people's emotions. There is no way all of te fish got to that size in that tank. The water is dirty and it is very clear that they are all new to the tank because no one knows where anything is in the tank. You can tell by the way the fish are exploring the tank.

Nonetheless this is pathetic and people like that deserve to be hung.

Not worth really waching it

This doesn't happen often in slat water due to water quality problems; it's much more common in fresh. I can't count how many stores I've been in who do this to their fish. I'm not sure about the max inch of fish per gallon in fresh water, but it can't be fun for the fish.

Most of those fish have been in there a while if you look at the other videos. Kind of crazy that they grew in there. The blueface changed while in the tank. The queen is the newest, but some of those fish like the blue tang, cream angel, emp, blueface, have been in there over a year. The queen was added 8 months ago.

I dony agree with the super overstocking going on but all the fish seem to be verey healthy in appearance.

I have looked at the videos over the past year of the tank and it is FAR from successful.

There has been a TON of changes in there and the only fish that has been there since it was little is the hippo.

IMHO it is a pure neglect of the animals

I think hanging is a bit extreme... I was a criminal prosecutor and since people get away with murder in front of juries and judges or get a minimal slap on the wrist for things like assaulting or abusing children I think that the comment is way out of line. I understand the sentiment, but please keep things in perspective. Sorry, you're definitely a positive influence on the boards, but that comment is way out there.

I haven't looked at the older videos, but I have to wonder how it's possible for those fish to be in there. The water quality has to be pretty good for that carpet to look that good and the fact that you have all of these large sized angels in a small tank like that and not a one has been eaten by the carpet... there's no way. My guess is these fish get put in there just to film. There's not even any algae on the powerhead or the corners.

If people can't get blue face angels to change in a full size system that's properly stocked then there's no way that angel is changing in that tank. Plus, there's no way that those fish are in there without any injuries to themselves or the corals - one angel, maybe, 2 angels, rolling the dice, 4 angels, 2 of which have a poor track record in a reef? Right...

Most of the corals are soft corals that don't usually get picked on, and the anemone is guarded by a pair of clarkii clowns.

"Hung" was just a off color comment...in no way did I mean it for real...sorry if it caused any ill feelings as it was not intended as such...

I understand, no ill feelings, just felt that it was a bit extreme but understand the context and figured it as such.

It's not like he agrees with the legal system either... I don't want to put words in his mouth, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't agree with murderers getting off the hook or child abusers getting a slap on the wrist, while at the same time condoning the death sentence for people who put fish in small tanks.

Nobody is hung as capital punishment anymore... that's why it's become a figure of speech. It's not like saying someone "should be killed by lethal injection"

Sorry go off on a tangent but this comment is also kind of out there... along with your logic

That dude. What a disgrace and black eye (pun intended) for the hobby.

He probably keeps up with water changes and keeps water quality good. Aggression is kept at bay because of lack of territory due to the small tank. Looks like he has a decent skimmer from the vids. They all look good.
