I love seen growth shots, I decided to take pics of all frags in my tank and then take them at 1 or 2 month intervals and the first set I took really shows some outstanding growth on some of the caps.

Zoos won't hurt the sps but they will overgrow the base thus doing damage so I would also recommend making sure they don't get there.

Looks like a nice valida to me. Good job on the growth

Not sure about A. valida, but it is certainly nice--and nice growth.

Well yes and no lol. I had some zoos that basically encircled my LE Loisietta(sp). I never noticed any damage but it prevented the base from expanding.
