well i took the plunge and purchased an ATI BM 250, should have it monday (yeah). Im pretty excited to move up in the hobby with this new tank build. So I'll be able to complete the sump build soon with this decision out of the way.

just had to share exciting news everybody.

I love my bubble master in my tetra tank, it opens up this little treasure chest about ever 30 seconds, it is rather fun to watch! Have you tried hooking the return from the skimmer to one of those little treasure chest's ? That would be really cool if you did!
 
jxmetal, glad to here you like your 160, i hope i wont reget this buy.

i'll try and figure out how to post some pics, never tried before.

I also have the 160, but definitely post pics. I'm interested in the 250 for a future tank
 
glad to here you love your 250, I cant wait till it arrives. so i can mark the sump where i want the baffles & get some glass cut and hopefully get them siliconed in place right.

does anyone have an estimate on the cost of glass? say 3/8 in thick for baffles in 75g glass tank?

yeah I heard he's crazy like that .....2 vortechs on the 58...whats that a 2 inch surf in that bad boy. you might need to add 2 more vortechs for that new tank chad.
 
He must make some great cabinets to get all those toys :)

I tried to get him to help me with my stand, but he's such a busy guy playing with that high end equip. he has...lol
