My First Clam!

my first clam will be arriving thursday (a derasa) I plan on drip acclimating him then putting him on the sand over a burried rock, he is going in my 26 gallon, I have a few other corals (mainly soft) I'm wondering if he will have enough calcium from the water or if I need to start testing/supplementing, I use reef crystals and change about 10% every week, anything else I need to do when I get him?

I am a firm believer of dosing with bionic (2pt solution) I feel like all my testing levels are more in check after dosing with this. (my clams seem to be doing fine...)

here is a pic

I am worried about those little white swirls that came on his shell, these look like the things that appear all over your glass, I just remember them being harmless so I didnt bother to remember the name, but them I saw a picture of a parasidic clam snail that look exactly like those things

Cool clam.. As long as they are staying where they are, those little white swirls are a type of worm, completely harmless.
