My first ever coral!

We finally got our new light system for our 65g... and got our first ever coral!
I know its not as fancy or big as most of everyone's, but I'm proud of it. We are planning on maybe another zoa frag or 2, a Kenya tree, a Toadstool, and a green BTA.

LOL!! I know, right??

BTW I was told these are Palys from the LFS.

Going to a fragging class from my local reef club on the 22nd...I get to take home what I frag. The tank has been a FOWLR since the beginning of April, and just got my new lights this past week. Now its a reef! I can't wait to get more and for these guys to grow and multiply... :D

Looks awsome and congratz!
Be careful about what you add to your tank. Read and ask questions about corals from your local group and here. The fragging class sounds great!

One word... Green Star Polyps (while very pretty) can and will encroach on other corals and can kill more delicate corals.
You have been warned! Lol

Thanks everyone :D

I will definitely talk to them at the club about my other selections, and I will make sure to keep them in check once they start multiplying!
They seem to be a little taller and looking healthy!
