I needed a new winter hobby to get me off my *** and a saltwater aquarium is it. I decided to go full bore and make my own stand as well. Originally I told myself (and my wife) that I was only gonna buy uses and spend about 800.00. Well that got away from me quickly. Wanted stand to be nice and match living room furniture so that meant 300.00+ for oak plywood and trim. Then I couldn't find a decent used tank somI bought new. Long story short I'm in for close to 3000 so far. Way more than I was planning , but appaerentyl that's the norm for this hobby. This got me the following:
90 gallon Aqueon tank with offset overflow 300.00 on sale
Assorted plumbing 300.00
SC Aquauriums 302 Skimmer 175.00
Trigger Ruby Sump 36 350.
Dry rock from Reef savers 100lbs 162.00 shipped
Carib sea 50/50 split of pink Fiji and Bimini pink live sand 100lbs 150.00 shipped
Eheim Jager 200w heater 32.
BRS 4 value RO/DI 75GPD 150.00

Jebao DCT 12000 return pump 119.00
Tunze 3155 ATO
Assorted tests and meters 200.00
Wood and supplies for stand 300.
When my wallet recovers a little I'll add an apex.
Any thoughts, comments or recommendations please let me know. Here is everything so far.
