Thanks. Hopefully I keep it healthy. I have plenty of other coral doing just fine but I heart plates can be a little weird.

Yea that looks nice & healthy. I have seen them catch food from the current too, but IMO this is a species that should definitely be target fed meaty food. In the long run I don't think they will thrive just catching random particles. It's fun to watch as well. I've found the short tentacled variety to be very hardy, but I did lose a long tentacled plate once and haven't tried another.

i feed mine small pieces of shrimp or scallop or sometimes, i will shoot mysis right over his mouth with a syringe. it's cool to watch it open up and take the food in. i have tried putting food right on the tentacles 'cause i wanted to see him move it to his mouth but the fish or shrimp always steal it before he can get it there!
