What size outside thread is that ? 1/2''? A 1/2'' pvc elbow slip by thread should work fine. I'm worried your 3/4 drains wont handle the mag drive output that you're gonna have.

So you have a sump? How does that work with those style of drain holes? I wanted a sump so thought I had to have an overflow, but I like those drains better cause they give the tank a much cleaner look.

I'm a little confused as to how those drains will work on an open system? The way it looks now your water level will be really low, and the drains will be super loud. Are those drains not designed for closed systems, or closed loops?
