My first Tridacnid Corcea..

Hey guys I just picked up my first clam.

Bought a 4inch Tridacnid Corcea.

My tank is 4ft x 16in x 18in deep.

I'm running 2 250watt 14000k MH bulbs.

My lights sit about 12inches above the water surface.


Is this enough lighting for clams?

Sounds fine, where is clam placed? That species enjoy rock placement up closer to lights, medium flow.

I have it placed on a rock about mid level in the tank.

Hoping it will take to the rock by tomorrow.

I'm hooked on clams now hahaha.
