My first trip to Jofish...

I'm guessing pretty much everyone else in the club has probably already been to Jofish, but being a Healdsburg boy, if I make it all the way down the freeway to Petaluma, it usually means I'm going somewhere even farther away and don't have time to stop (or transport corals in my car)!

Either way, after seeing on their Facebook page that they had a Yasha Hase goby in stock, my girls and I decided we'd make the trek today... and after coming home with not just one fish but two fish and two corals (I bet that's NEVER happened to anyone else on a trip to an LFS, has it? :-) ), I thought I'd put a quick post up here to give the store "two thumbs up."

If you haven't been, you should go - courteous staff, a nice collection of coral (and fish) to choose from, and reasonable prices. The frag tanks are fun too simply because they are "shallow and big" (which, for some reason, makes them even more fun to look at as the powerheads push the water around).

Anyhow, though Caeser's is still the closest thing I have to a "local" fish store, I will definitely be visiting Jofish again in the future... huzzah!

+1 huzzah!

Last time I was there I came home with a good looking faviid I didn't realize I needed until I saw it. ;)

My magnificent Chevron tang and stupendous Melanurus wrasse both came from there.

I'm liking the Gamma brand frozen food offerings they have too. And of course the Reef Nutrition products.

I was in there the other day and among other things they had a couple of perfert little female Leopard wrasses. That was a surprise. I havnt seen them in a store locally in a long time so Good Job guys. Keep up the good work. Grant
