My first zoa pic

I have had a saltwater tank for many many years and never owned a Zoa.

Well a few weeks ago I noticed a pic of a Zoa that jumped out at me.

Since then I have gone out and aquired a number of them.

I have a severe addiction now!

Also I purchased a good camera a yr ago or so. Other than taking pictures of the family in full automatic I have never used all the "other" stuff on it.
Well these Zoas have given me reason to learn my camera too!

I will take some more pics and post them in the near future.

Thank you - I was pretty happy with how it turned out as well. I have a few more to post, maybe later tonight.

I have a Canon Rebel with the stock lense.

Now I want to learn how to take the macro shots of a single polyp.

LOL - thanks for the comments guys.

When ever I get hook on something I go all out. Just depends what the flavour of the month is.

I am picking up a few more in the next week or of good size and great coloring.

I am setting up a new 120 gal tank, these shot are taken in a 55 gal temp. tank.

The new tank is a room devider visable on three sides (starfire glass )Part of my aquascaping idea is a horse shoe shape zoa garden facing the end of the tank. Then a bonsia type structure, that a cave like set up to finish it off. I cant wait for my tank to be ready so I can get it set up.

Wow! Pretty massive colonies for only being a couple weeks old. You must have one hell of a supplier.

One person I hooked up with is getting rid of all his zoas. Most of these I got from him, some I got here and there. When I pick up the rest I will close to double what I have now
