I've kept various dottybacks over the years and some are just plain mean, though I've never seen a Centropyge take any $#!% from a dotty. They really like they're caves though, all of them and basslets too. Perhaps a different sort of trap is in order like a length of pvc pipe capped on one end. Eventually he'll go check it out.
