The sand moves around a bit, but I also use larger grains of sand mixed in to help weigh it down. Whats funny about the flow is that I have been debating changing out my 6105's for a pair of 6205's

Mark, beautiful tank man. I think every coral you have in your tank is on my "must-get" list! How have you incorporated the Vortechs with the Tunze's? Is there something that the Vortech's give you that the Tunze's don't? Just curious.

Thanks. I think they both have their positives and negatives. With the VT's, the flow is wider and softer on the corals and the Tunzes are tunzes and everyone know hoe good their products are.

The setosa is a really fast growing coral once it takes off. I have seen a few colonies that make mine look like a small frag.

As for eqipment, I don't have anything current, but here are a couple from shortly after I set things up. I have changed up a couple things since then, but its pretty simple.

Thanks Dave, but could you imagine how may pretty sticks I could get into a 1000 gallon tank/system....talk about being jealous

mpoletti, your tank looks pretty darn nice! when that tank get really mature you're gonna need that 1000 gallon tank! better yet just ship some frags to me and i'll take good care of the corals. You can feel good that they will be adopted by good parents! .lol

I have filled these babies in with all kinds of ugly stuff Xenia farming seems to be my specialty:lol: I need to invest in some fancy stuff one day. I am going to be getting some cool chalices from slojmn when I get some extra cash.
