My flame angel

I've heard flame angel isnt easy to keep for some reason, but I am lucky, my flame angel has been w/ me for a few months now.. and it loves the pellets I feed.

I think some are still useing cyinaide to collect flames,this has caused alot of them to perish.If you recive a healthy flame they can live a long time,I have read on rc of one owner that had a flame for 16 years.

Any problems with it nipping corals?

Also what pellets are you using. I need to ween my fish off frozen foods.

Agreed with snakeman. Flames are pretty hardy angels. If you get a healthy one (collected and shipped well), they eat like pigs and can last a long time in your tank. Centropyge angels are fairly easy to pair (given enough time) and will even spawn in aquaria. They are one of my favorite angels. I have a male and two females currently.

One came from the critter. The other two were picked up from a distributor by a friend visiting hawaii.
