My G. glabrous didnt survive her last molt...

I just found my G. glabrous dead in her tank, with an uneaten molt.
She was really a highly interactive and enjoyable little thing. Defnately in contention with my ternatensis for favorite little gal.
She will be missed.

I am sorry to hear that as well. She was very pretty, awesome electric green. I know how much it can suck, I just found my G.platysoma dead a couple of days ago. She too was very interactive. She actually spent more time out in the open that in her burrow. It's wierd, cause sometimes I find myself staring into her tank half-expecting to still see her.

Thanks for the condolences. It is strange, as Typhon was one of the most 'friendly' mantis shrimp that I have. She would actually come out and move right up to the tank wall, examining me, never throwing a threat gesture, and (through testing by offering food) she would usually just be interested in getting a look at me, not always what I was offering for lunch.

There is a kid at the LFS who bought the other G. glabrous from the same batch, and he is thinking of selling her and getting (Of al things)
Seahorses instead for his little nano. Seahorses are gorgeous and all, but talk about night and day...
I'm talking to him on Monday about maybe adopting his mantis, as he really wanted a Peacock, and isn't really into it.
